About Skye

Skye attended the University of Georgia and received a bachelor’s degree in Dietetics, then took root in Atlanta after graduation. The summer before her last year of school, she interned for a food media company local to Atlanta, Atlanta Eats (2014). The company hired Skye mid-summer to begin working for them part-time as she finished her degree. Skye began a full-time role after graduation a few months later (May 2015). Her job title of “French Fry Aficionado” required her to work under an umbrella of marketing, sales and account executive roles. During this time, she also began working on camera and appearing on weekly food segments of “Atlanta Plugged In” on CBS46. She hosted the Athens, GA episode of “Dish Worth the Drive” and was featured in several CBS46 “Public Affairs on Peach” specials as well.

In 2016, Skye left Atlanta Eats and took on the role of Marketing and Media Manager of Taste of Atlanta, which was Atlanta’s largest and longest-running food festival at the time. While at Taste of Atlanta, she co-hosted the segment, “Talk Food to Me with Skye Estroff” on Star 94.1’s morning show and got her RYT 200 yoga teaching certification. In 2018, Skye emcee-ed the 100 year gala for the University of Georgia’s College of Family & Consumer Sciences with her dad, Neal Estroff. During this time, she was the spokesperson for Taste of Atlanta and was featured on many media outlets like WSB Radio, Business Radio X, social media videos with The Atlanta Journal Constitution, guest segments on CBS46 and Fox 5 Atlanta.

In 2019, Skye left Taste of Atlanta to launch her own business, Skye Estroff LLC (skye-estroff.com). She began working with Fox 5 Good Day Atlanta to be a regular segment contributor. She hosted the podcast “The Georgia Foodcast” from 2019-2020 to highlight the food & faces behind Georgia’s good food movement. Skye started working with clients on social media and marketing strategy while founding another company, Foodie Road Trip LLC, with a partner to bring the show “Foodie Road Trip” to life. Season 1 of Foodie Road Trip was released to the public in 2022 and is streaming on a multitude of platforms including: Roku, Tubi, Redbox, Prime Video and more (foodieroadtrip.com). The show has been well received and featured in many media channels including: The Atlanta Journal Constitution, Savannah Morning News, The Skimm, Georgia Magazine, Cherry Bombe, Shoutout Atlanta, WABE, Simply Buckhead Magazine, Jewish Food Society and more. Throughout the past 4 ½ years, She continues her dedicated food trends segment on Good Day Atlanta, regularly participates as a Food Judge for several culinary competitions (i.e. Atlanta Charcuterie Competition, Taste of Marietta, Atlanta Grilled Cheese Festival, Suwanee Magazine’s annual food competition, Taste of Alpharetta…etc.), appears in various publications (Jezebel Magazine, cover of Suwanee Magazine, Southern Living Magazine…etc), serves in her 3rd year on the Alumni Board of the College of Family and Consumer Sciences at the University of Georgia and releases new episodes of “Skye’s The Limit” podcast on a weekly basis since its launch toward the end of 2023.
